Ashish Joseph Maxton was born to Rev. Dr. Man Mohan Maxton and Mrs. Shail Kumari Maxton. Born in a Christian evangelical family from Pauri Garhwal, the foothills of Himalayas in Uttara Khand. His father retired as the Executive Director of India Every Home Crusade internationally known as Every Home for Christ (formerly known as World Literature Crusade) His mother was as school teacher.
He grew in a Christian atmosphere and has been a follower of living God all of his life. His Father Rev. Dr. Man Mohan Maxton and mother Late Shail Kumari Maxton dedicated him for the service of God when he was born. He grew up in a good evangelical Christian atmosphere. He has two elder sisters Dr. Asha Florence Solomon and Dr. Anupama Esther Maxton and a younger brother Adarsh Emmanuel Maxton all serving the living God.
The name “Ashish” means “Blessing.” In 2008, Rev. Ashish Joseph Maxton was assigned to the Lal Bagh Methodist Church, under the Lucknow Regional Conference of the Methodist Church in India. The Lal Bagh Methodist has a membership of over 200 people and 7 preaching points with more than 1500 believers, dedicated to a vision of being “Transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit ... as we boldly proclaim Christ to the world.” Ashish Joseph Maxton served as the Pastor of Joshua Warne Denning Memorial Methodist Church at Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh under the Lucknow Regional Conference, MCI.

He holds a B.A. degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad, M.A. from J.S. University, Shikohabad, B.D. from the Union Biblical Seminary, Pune affiliated to the Senate of Serampore, West Bengal, India.

Rev. Ashish Joseph Maxton when he was a youth has been a volunteer for Youth for Christ, Campus Crusade and India Every Home Crusade. He still has a passion for evangelism and encourages the people for being a volunteer for the outreach programes, he has a concern for the spirituality of youth and young adults, has lead numerous people to Christ, counseled several people of all age, he is also a man with compassion has helped several people who have met with an accident at the roadside. He embraces diversity and leads the Church with joy and compassion.
He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His wife, Anita Jasmine, is his partner in ministry, and they are blessed with daughter Ashnita Shakina and son Abhineet Samuel. Rev. Ashish Joseph Maxton enjoys going on long drives, reading and listening to Christian devotional music. He is also a musician and can play Accordion, Keyboards, Drums, Harmonica and Tabla. His key philosophies are to love everyone with the love of the Lord, enjoy God’s creation and make use of it responsibly.
