Ashish Joseph Maxton was born to Rev. Dr. Man Mohan Maxton and Mrs. Shail Kumari Maxton. Born in a Christian evangelical family from Pauri Garhwal, the foothills of Himalayas in Uttara Khand. His father retired as the Executive Director of India Every Home Crusade internationally known as Every Home for Christ (formerly known as World Literature Crusade) His mother was as school teacher. He grew in a Christian atmosphere and has been a follower of living God all of his life.
His Father Rev. Dr. Man Mohan Maxton and mother Late Shail Kumari Maxton dedicated him for the service of God when he was born. He grew up in a good evangelical Christian atmosphere. He has two elder sisters Dr. Asha Florence Solomon and Dr. Anupama Esther Maxton and a younger brother Adarsh Emmanuel Maxton all serving the living God.
